Cold Air Intake for Fab9 GT Turbo - NC Miata

from $320.00

We have decided to make cold air intakes for the Fab9 GT turbo kits. The original configuration pulls hot engine bay air in through a small filter and uses a 2.5" pipe. Our intake pulls cold air from behind the bumper cover through a large filter and full 3" piping. The design we are selling employs the use of a silicone 90 instead of a welded tight radius 90 (as in one of the pictures) in order to keep cost down and help with variances between builds.

Kit includes the following:

-Straight 3" coupler with 2x clamps

-90deg 3" coupler with 2x clamps

-3" welded aluminum pipe segment

-3" short joiner pipe

-AEM Pro Dry-S air filter

The BOV pipe will need to be cut and welded to change it's orientation. You may ship us yours to be cut and re-welded or we can supply a 2" straight coupler so you can cut and make it fit. We don't recommend the 2" coupler option as charge pipes should have bead-rolled ends to help hold boost.

Available raw (as fabricated) or powder coated to the original kit color. If you option to send us your charge pipe for welding and you select powder coating we will have the charge pipe coated as well. Powder coating will increase turnaround time depending on the powder coaters work load.

These are designed and fabricated here in our shop! Powder coating done locally by Coatings by Coates.
